MINIMUM STAY: 28 DAYS  “Sunrise on Sunset” is the ULTIMATE BEACH FRONT HOME.  There are BREATH TAKING OCEAN VIEW Sfrom almost every room in this house!  Play in the sand, walk into the ocean or sit under the covered ground level area.  This spacious 3BR/3BA single family home offers many ways to enjoy the views.  Several sets of sliding glass doors across the front of the home provide 180 degree view of the ocean - from the living and dining areas and the master suite.  The full walk around balcony with many seating areas creates a variety of places to take advantage of the rising or setting sun and the different wind patterns.  New owners have completely refurnished this home: formal dining table and chairs; “L” shaped sofa with full size sleeper sofa; plus a separate area with full size sleeper sofa. The master suite is spectacular with a vaulted ceiling and ocean views from two sides and sliding glass doors leading to the balcony. There’s a king bed and queen sleeper sofa, ensuite bath with a jetted tub, separate stall shower and a walk-in closet. One guest room offers a king bed with views of the canal and sliding doors to the balcony. The other guest bedroom offers two full sized beds and sliding doors to the balcony.  A NEW kitchen is currently under construction (Fall 2018) and will be ready by early November.  When everyone congregates in the kitchen, as everyone tends to do, there will still be space to move around in this modern roomy kitchen.  
 
This home lives on the 2 nd  floor and offers a ground level entry with a wide elegant stair case and an elevator.  There is a large outdoor covered area on the ground level with lots of new outdoor seating and a hammock.  Gather on the beach to catch the rays or take advantage of the shaded area. This home is built for relaxation and entertaining.  There are large flat screen TV’s in the living area and all the bedrooms.  Bring your boat and tie it up at the dock across the street. There is water and electricity at the dock. Wi-Fi is included.  Call now to make your reservation.

Presented by the Islamorada Fishing Club, this is the second leg of the Florida Keys Gold Cup Series, with a typical field of up to 30 boat teams of elite sport fishermen. A total cash payout for a full field at the IFC Sailfish Tournament could reach $25,000. Kick off is Jan. 23, 2019 , one day of fishing Jan. 24, 2019 , with awards ceremony immediately after.


The 29th Annual Cheeca Lodge Presidential Sailfish Tournament is the third leg of the prestigious Florida Keys Gold Cup Sailfish Championship

About the Florida Keys Gold Club Sailfish Championship: 
The Florida Keys Gold Cup Sailfish Championship is a combination of three of the premier sailfish events in the Florida Keys. The FKGC is both an angler tournament as well as a team tournament. Each team must fish aboard the same boat in all three events. At least one angler of each team entered must fish all three events. This format stems from a long history of sailfish tri-fectas. Teams compete to win the coveted Florida Keys Gold Cup Sailfish Tournament trophy.

The three events that comprise the Florida Keys Gold Cup include:

  1.  Islamorada Sailfish Tournament November 29–December 2, 2018
  2.  Islamorada Fishing Clubs' Sailfish Tournament January 23-24, 2019
  3.  Cheeca Lodge Presidential Sailfish Tournament January 25-27, 2019

Each tournament has their own set of rules and entry fees. Each angler competes on an individual basis for the Championship Ring that includes bragging rights for the entire year. Teams compete for cash prizes and the coveted Gold Cup Trophy. There are also team awards for second and third places. The Florida Keys Gold Cup Sailfish Championship lures anglers from all over the world. The field has a limited entry of teams of elite sport fisherman. Early entry is encouraged. By entering the Florida Keys Gold Cup, anglers are supporting the Islamorada Charter Boat Association. The charter boat association is a 501-C-3 organization that works to conserve our fisheries here for future generations. The competition heats up at the end of November when the Islamorada Sailfish Tournament kicks of this tournament series.



A free concert held at the ICE Amphitheater in Founders Park, featuring cartoon capers & fright night, broadway & movie favorites, Beatles & classic rock. Performance is outdoors; no chairs provided, bring blankets. Starts at 4 p.m. Admission free.

Some of the best college swimmers - and perhaps future Olympians - in the country compete at Jacobs Aquatic Center, mile marker (MM) 99.6 oceanside, in a competition that is part of the celebration surrounding the annual Orange Bowl college football game in Miami. Spectators are invited to attend this free event, meet the swimmers and coaches. Racing is set to begin at 10 a.m. on January 3, 2019.

The Florida Keys Council of the Arts works to support all the arts, in all the Keys, all the time. The local arts agency is launching its seventh annual Connections Project Keyswide road show with a grand opening reception at the Murray Nelson Government & Cultural Center in Key Largo from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. January 23, 2019 to May 3, 2019 featuring a vibrant 24-foot mosaic mural created by local artists and art lovers. The reception with wine and hors d’oeuvres is open to the public.
