Gorgeous Florida Bay views from Brock Haus on the Gulf

Every July the coastal areas of Florida are flooded with lobster hunters trying to get their share of this year's bounty when the official mini lobster season kicks off. There are two Florida Lobster Seasons, the 2 day mini season and the 8 month regular lobster season. The mini lobster season is always the last consecutive Wednesday and Thursday in July. This year the mini season falls on July 26th and 27th. Make sure to always verify dates and regulations with Florida Fish and Wildlife It begins at 12:01 am on Wednesday and ends at 12:00 midnight on Thursday. The regular 8 month lobster season is always August 6 through March 31. You can purchase your lobster permit directly by clicking HERE!

I had the most incredible dining experience recently at the Lazy Lobster in Key Largo http://lazylobsterinthekeys.com/. I've been itching to try the new joint in town and finally had an occasion to enjoy it. WOW WOW WOW... That's what I have to say about my meal, the restaurant decor and service. They start you off with the most delicious banana bread I think I've ever eaten. My girlfriend and I both had the Hog Fish Sandwich with Key Lime Butter. We paired it with yummy sweet potato fries and I don't think we had a bite left on our plates! Highly recommend Lazy Lobster for your next dining experience.
