LOOKING FOR SOMETHING FUN TO DO THIS MONTH?

Be sure to check out the Morada Way ArtWalk on Thursday, July 20th, offering attendees live music on three stages, performance artists and, of course, world class original art and hand-crafted jewelry, as well as sculptures and more!

This wonderful event offers samples of a myriad media in fine art for sale, including hand-crafted jewelry and sculptures made by local artists and makers! Attendees  will find themselves in the heart of the Morada Way Arts & Cultural District in a setting of three stages with live music as well as food from local, favorite establishments right there on the block! I've personally made my way to the block and found it very refreshing. It's a time when locals and visitors emerge in one place to feel the island vibe. Lots of talent can be found here as well as tasty treats. I highly encourage at least a visit to this laid back evening of fun!

This monthly event has become a focal point of artistic expression and cultural awareness in the Upper Keys.

As the Art District’s business partners remain open during these Third Thursday Art Walk evenings, this indoor/outdoor street festival has become the talk of the Keys, drawing multitudes of people from all over South Florida and beyond each month. The crowds stroll through the Art District, which spans a quarter of a mile of the Old Highway between the historical 1935 Hurricane Monument and the iconic Green Turtle Inn and includes the intersecting street now known as Morada Way!

The artists and the gallery owners thrive with the involvement of the Morada Way Arts & Cultural District and those who do not have studio or gallery space in the Art District use the Morada Way Art Walks to exhibit their works and gain exposure to the public and to their loyal collectors.

This event takes place every 3rd Thursday of the month throughout the year.
